Not just a designer…

Abby is obsessed with puzzles, Halloween, the great outdoors, and can often be found drawing or crafting.

I'm a product designer who has spent time working at Facebook, Edmodo, Air, and founding my own company. I received a BFA in Industrial Design with a minor in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University. I've always enjoyed watching and thinking about how other people interact with their world and believe that as our interfaces become one of the primary tools in which we interact with each other & our surroundings, we can find deliberate, interesting, and delightful ways to incorporate technology into our every day lives. I love solving puzzles working on difficult or complex problems that have a positive impact on the world.

When not working, I'm a not-so-secret nerd, whether it is keeping up with my latest pop culture obsession, playing board games or dungeons & dragons with friends, or reading 100 books in a year. Also, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, hiking & backpacking, and love taking road trips. I’ve driven cross country, across the Pacific Northwest, and parts of Canada. You can often find me with a coffee & sketchbook in hand or planning my next Halloween costume.
